Position Summary

Anatomy Lecturers are experts in the field of anatomy who deliver lectures and conduct practical sessions for students studying healthcare-related disciplines. They are responsible for teaching students about the structure of the human body, including organs, tissues, and systems. Anatomy Lecturers use a variety of teaching methods to help students understand and retain complex anatomical information.


  • Facilitate students’ learning and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Coordinate classroom and laboratory activities, evaluate student learning and maintain academic records and attendance.
  • Develop scholarly pedagogic outputs such as syllabi, homework assignments and handouts.
  • Promote collegiality within the academic community by serving on committees, participating in faculty and staff meetings and departmental activities.
  • Stay current in the academic discipline through professional development opportunities.
  • Be available for academic support outside of the classroom.
  • Other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Qualifications/ Experience
Applicants MUST:

  • Possess good first degree (Bachelor of Science) in Anatomy.
  • Possess a Post Graduate Diploma in Education.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience or demonstrated related experience.
  • Possess exceptional communication and pedagogical skills.
  • Be a committed Christian.
  • Align with the values of ECWA and be a person with outstanding moral character and integrity. Applicant must also be ready to uphold Governing Documents and ECWA Constitution and Byelaws.
