Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our esteemed faculty as Entrepreneurship Lecturer. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders. Successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and impactful lectures, workshops, and seminars that inspire and empower our students to turn their innovative ideas into successful ventures.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive course curricula on entrepreneurship, covering topics such as business planning, market analysis, financial management, and scaling strategies.
  • Facilitate interactive classroom discussions, case studies, and hands-on activities to foster an entrepreneurial mindset among our students.
  • Mentor and guide students through the process of launching their own startups, providing valuable insights and feedback.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to provide students with real-world entrepreneurial experiences.
  • Continuously update course materials to ensure they reflect the current trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the entrepreneurship landscape.
  • Participate in college-wide initiatives related to entrepreneurship and innovation.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the entrepreneurship program by proposing new courses, workshops, and extracurricular activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the College Management and Governing Council.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Preferred first degree in Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Economics or a related field. A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • Applicant must have post graduate diploma in education (PGDE) or professional diploma in education (PDE).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching entrepreneurship at college level.
  • Proven track record of successful entrepreneurial ventures or extensive experience in the startup ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication, pedagogical and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Strong research and publication record in the field of entrepreneurship.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative teaching methodologies and curriculum.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in entrepreneurship.
  • Passion for fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and supporting the next generation of business leaders.
  • Be proficient in basic computer skills.
  • Applicant must not be more than 45 years old.
