PHYSIOLOGY Lecturer employment opportunity



Position Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of physiology, conducting research, and contributing to the development of the college academic programs.


  • Teach physiology courses to students.
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching methods.
  • Mentor students in research projects and provide guidance on academic and professional development.
  • Conduct original research in physiology and publish findings in reputable journals.
  • Participate in college-wide committees.
  • Engage in community outreach and service activities related to physiology.
  • Collaborate with local healthcare providers and organizations to promote the field of physiology.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the College Management and Governing Council.

Qualifications and Skills

  • First degree in in Physiology or a related field. A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • Applicant must have post graduate diploma in education (PGDE) or professional diploma in education (PDE).
  • A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at college level.
  • Strong research background and publication record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in teaching and learning technologies.
  • Be proficient in computer skills.
  • Applicant must not be more than 45 years old.
